This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you:
visit devs.host,
create a Devs Host account, or
connect your Facebook Page or Instagram account so our tool can send one private reply per comment (per platform rules).
For data we process from your connected social accounts, we act as your service provider/processor. For information about visitors to our website and your account with us, we act as controller.
You provide: name, email, password (hashed), billing details (if you buy a paid plan), support messages.
From connected platforms: Page/IG account IDs, access tokens, comment IDs, commenter profile IDs (as provided by the platform), message content you configure (e.g., the link we send), delivery metadata (status, timestamps).
Automatically: log data (IP, device/browser, pages viewed), cookies or similar IDs, basic analytics.
Deliver and improve the service (detect a new comment → send your automated private reply/link).
Authenticate you, secure accounts, prevent abuse.
Provide support, troubleshoot, and communicate product updates.
Comply with law and platform policies.
We rely on: Contract (to provide the service), Legitimate Interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), and Consent where required (e.g., cookies/marketing).
We do not sell personal information. We share only with:
Vendors/Processors (hosting, analytics, logging, email delivery, payment processing) under written agreements.
Social platforms you connect (Facebook/Instagram) as necessary to send and receive messages/comments via their APIs.
Legal/Compliance when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
If our business is involved in a merger/transaction, data may transfer as part of that deal.
We may transfer data to countries that may not provide the same level of protection as your home country. When we do, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
Access tokens: kept until you disconnect or your token expires.
Comment/message metadata: typically kept 30–90 days for delivery logs and abuse prevention, then minimized or anonymized.
Account/billing records: kept as long as you have an account and as required by tax/accounting laws.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, restricted access, secrets management). No method is 100% secure.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port your data.
EEA/UK: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request access/deletion and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact privacy@devs.host.
Our service isn’t directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
You must have the necessary rights/permissions to use Devs Host with your Page/IG account and to send automated replies. You’re responsible for following all platform rules and applicable laws (e.g., anti-spam and marketing laws).
Disconnect your Page/IG in the dashboard to revoke tokens.
Email privacy@devs.host with subject “Data Deletion – Devs Host” and include your account email and connected Page/IG IDs.
We’ll delete or anonymize data we control, and instruct our processors to do the same, subject to legal retention requirements.
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version on devs.host and update the effective date. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice.
